How to Update InstaPro to the Latest Version

InstaPro has no auto-update. Because it is not on Google Play, every update is a manual process: get the new APK, install it over the old one. This page covers the process, what to do before updating, and what usually goes wrong.
Why staying updated matters more for mods
- Login and loading failures. Instagram's servers change constantly. Mod builds that fall behind often stop logging in, show endless loading spinners, or fail to load stories and DMs — long before the official app has any problem.
- Higher detection risk. Old mod builds are the easiest for Meta's systems to fingerprint. An outdated third-party client is generally at greater risk of account restriction than a current one.
- Unpatched bugs. Whatever the developer fixed since your version, you do not have.
That said — only update to versions announced by the developer. Version numbers like 15.x that never appeared on the official channel are unverified claims; see the homepage for details.
Step 1 — Check your current version
Open InstaPro, go to your profile, open the menu and look for the version entry in the mod's settings section (most builds show it near the bottom of settings). Alternatively: Android Settings › Apps › InstaPro shows the installed version. If it already says 13.10, you are on the latest verified build.
Step 2 — Before you update
- Know your login. Make sure you know your Instagram password (or have a reset option ready). Updates occasionally log you out.
- Save anything stored only on the phone. Your photos, DMs and followers live on Instagram's servers and survive an update. But media you saved through the mod, or in-app preference tweaks, can be lost if the update goes wrong and you need a clean reinstall — copy anything important out of the app's folders first.
- Have a few free minutes. Do not update right before you urgently need the app; if a reinstall becomes necessary you will need to log in again.
Step 3 — Download and install the new version
- Download the latest verified APK (13.10, about 75 MB):

- Open the APK and tap Update / Install. Do not uninstall the old version first — installing over the top keeps your login and settings.
- Open the app and confirm the version number changed.
Troubleshooting

| "App not installed" during update | The new APK is signed differently from your installed copy (common when the old copy came from a different site). You will have to uninstall the old version, install the new APK fresh, and log in again — this is the case where in-app preferences are lost. |

Where do update announcements come from? The only source we treat as authoritative is the developer's public Telegram channel (t.me/SamMods). The former website instmod.com is offline as of August 2026. When a genuinely newer version is announced there, this site's version tracker will reflect it.
